Both centers on the Landis Homes campus offer a warm welcome and a caring, safe environment.

Adult Day Services offers supervision and programs in two centers:

Eden West -- A friendly, stimulating setting for persons who enjoy the company of other adults. It is conveniently located near the Landis Homes pool, fitness center, and billiards/shuffleboard room.

Eden East -- Care with dignity for persons with memory loss. Specially trained and caring staff provide meaningful activities that focus on the person's remaining strengths and provide opportunities for success.

Purpose

*To add meaning and dignity to life through activities and companionship.

*To maintain or improve physical and mental functioning.

*To offer respite and support to families and caregivers.

*To provide opportunity to remain in one's home as long as possible.

Adult Day Services are jointly sponsored by Landis Homes and Lancaster County Office of Aging and are funded, in part, by contracts with the Lancaster County Office of Aging, the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the Lancaster County Office of Mental Health/Mental Retardation. Clients have the right to be provided services at these centers and be referred for services at other centers without regard to age, race, color, religious creed, sex, disability, handicap, ancestry, national origin or ability to pay.

Adult Day Services will be closed
on the following holidays in 2012:
April 6 -- Good Friday
May 28 -- Memorial Day
July 4 -- Independence Day
Sept. 3 -- Labor Day
Nov. 22 -- Thanksgiving
Dec. 25 -- Christmas
Jan. 1, 2013 -- New Year's
